With 54,000+ free plugins for WordPress and 4,000+ Free Themes in the WordPress directory, how does one decide among the thousands claiming to be “the number one choice”? In the ThemeForest Repositor, my last count was 47,000+ Themes for sale.

Let us start with an even bigger question, “Is WordPress the best”?

The answer really depends on what it is you are trying to accomplish. For the personal blogging website and small business, the answer is “absolutely!!!.” I would not recommend it for a large high traffic website like Facebook. So do not worry about what high-priced developers might have told you. I am sure it was a well-rehearsed sale pitch; with more than 35% of the internet Powered by WordPress, you can be sure it suitable for your needs.

You can do everything in WordPress for free, providing you know how to code. Plugins save both beginners and developers time and money. This is where I stop and warn people, “Do not pay top dollars to Fake Developers who do nothing but install paid plugins. Ask questions and know what you are paying for. Did they actually develop something for you?
